Routine Appointments
There are a wide range of appointments available from 8.30 am to 6.00pm. If you contact the reception they will help you access the most appropriate one for you.

Urgent Appointments
If you have a problem which you feel should be dealt with on the same day, please tell the receptionist. You will then be passed through to the GP or practice nurse who will ask for brief details as to why you think your condition requires an urgent appointment. They will arrange to see you if it is appropriate that day.

Home Visits
Home visits are made at the discretion of the GP. If you request a home visit you will be passed to the GP who will ask for details as to why your condition requires a visit. They may decide it is more appropriate for you to be seen at the surgery. As you will appreciate, a visit to a patients home takes the doctor some time. We hope, in discussion with the patient or carer, to agree the most appropriate time and place for the patient to be seen. If the patient has a temperature or rash, coming to the surgery will usually do no harm or endanger others, but please inform the receptionist on arrival if either or both of these conditions is present.

Telephone Advice
Sometimes you may want advice on a health problem or medication and simply wish to talk to a doctor. During the day the GP or practice nurse will be available for telephone advice. Please be prepared to leave a telephone number so the GP or practice nurse can ring you back at a convenient time.
